The summer holiday has slowly become my nemesis. I have found it terribly hard to find a job, not even a good paying job, just a job period. My friends are not really outgoing about certain things I think would be fun. I wanted to go see Social Code tonight, but nobody would go with me. I went to my high school reunion instead. It was good to be back in the halls, and having a flood of memories wash over me. The happiest I have ever been was in that school. As of late I have been in a rut. It was raining the other day, so i decided to go outside and take some random pictures. Capture some raindrops and their lively motions. The photo above is in my Mom's bird bath. I have ridiculous amounts of time to do these things now. The last couple days I have been waking up early to paint. I started a new painting the other day, it's from a photo I took near the shoreline, by the old run down freighter docks. I made real progress in the last couple days, hopefully I will be done in a couple more. I love to finish paintings, but then the part I hate is making the decision whether to keep them or sell them. To early to say now. I want to have a show by the end of the summer, just to keep up my work at a local restaurant or coffee pub. Get some exposure, and maybe some dollars for my artwork.
