White Night! Or as Torontonians call it "Nuit Blanche". Exhibits and spectacles found on and around the busy streets of Toronto. People line the streets and dominate the sidewalks at the all night event. I headed up with some school friends to see the sites and view some installation pieces. What we found was video artwork, old men dancing with sticks and bells, nuclear protesters tied to crosses, a house covered in pink fabric and some badass artwork. The night started out slow, but picked up when we stumbled upon the galleries on Queen West. I think all of our favourite was the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art.
A video was shown of a living room and in the middle of the living room a floor level camera would slowly rotate in a circle. Every new rotation, an animal was added to the living room. First a cat, then a dog, a bird . . . .a pig . . . a llama . . then a cow! All in this tiny living room, like 30 animals. It was complete barnyard havoc! I must have watched that camera go around 30 times.
The night was exciting to be around so many people. After hours of footsteps and various foreign energy drinks and popsicles, we made our way back to Oakville. Toronto smells really bad, like an outhouse. I didn't realize it until 2:30AM. Oh yeah, I got hit in the face with a parking garage gate-arm. It uppercut me Chuck Norris style. There was no avoiding it. Not impressed.

Big ups on the presentation, Greg.
I think Graphic Design's gotten to your brain, and I LIKE IT.
haha, agreed.
oh white night, light bright, beautiful pictures shine so bright!
Jill would be proud. A serif and a sans serif together. Pure magic. Doesn't get much better than that.
